Course Perspective

Just wrapped up the ‘Attract and Engage Customers with Digital Marketing’ course, and let me say, it’s been an eye-opener. I’ve been around the digital marketing block a few times, but this course added some new layers to my understanding.

For starters, it dives deep into brand awareness. We’re not talking just slapping a logo on a website; this is about truly resonating with potential customers. It’s about strategies that make people remember your brand, even if they don’t buy from you right away.

Then comes the SEO part, which is a whole universe in itself. Sure, I knew the basics of SEO, but this course made me dig deeper into optimizing website content. We’re talking about the nitty-gritty of keyword density, meta tags, and all that jazz. Plus, it makes sure you really get the point of SEO. It’s not just about topping search engine results; it’s about connecting with people who are actively looking for what you offer.

SEM (search engine marketing) is another game changer. It’s not something I was unfamiliar with, but the course laid it out in a way that got me rethinking my approach. How to really use SEM to boost business, you know?

I’ve been in Malaysia and Singapore for a long time, and there’s a lot of potential to apply these skills here. I’m not in it for the money, though. I’ve got a family to think about, and I’d rather spend time helping people understand this stuff than charge them for it. With this course under my belt, I’m even more equipped to do that.

The thing is, I’ve always liked sharing what I know. This isn’t just about me getting another ‘piece of paper’ to add to my qualifications. It’s about adding more tools to my toolbox so that I can help more people, whether it’s in digital marketing, programming, or even things like badminton coaching and wine tasting.

So what’s next? Time to take this learning and turn it into action. There’s no point hoarding knowledge; it’s meant to be shared. And that’s exactly what I plan to do.
