Course Perspective
I’ve always been more on the quiet side, usually just hanging out with my best friend. But when it comes to my career in digital marketing and programming, good communication is a must. That’s why I jumped into the Certified Effective Communication in the Globalized Workplace Specialization course.
The course was a real eye-opener. It covered the basics of communication and how to adapt in a global setting. One key lesson for me was the value of networking. In a field like digital marketing, connections can be as important as skills. The course also tackled how to communicate persuasively and credibly, which is crucial whether you’re talking to clients or teammates.
Why does this matter to me? For starters, I’ve spent significant time in Malaysia and Singapore and feel a strong connection to these places. As time passes, the urge to share my skills in digital marketing, programming, and even my hobbies grows stronger. I’m all for sharing what I know for free, why make life all about the dollar?
Thanks to this course, I now have the skills to communicate effectively. That’s key if I want to share my knowledge in a way that resonates with people. It’s not just about broadcasting what I know; it’s about engaging in meaningful conversations and understanding what people actually need.
In short, this course filled a gap for me. Stepping out of my comfort zone wasn’t easy, but the skills I’ve picked up are priceless. Now, I feel more ready to connect, share, and truly make an impact. And that’s something worth chatting about.
