Course Perspective

I was hesitant about the Google IT Automation with Python course. It sounded intimidating, and honestly, I wasn’t thrilled about slogging through it. But having finished it, I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned and how useful these skills are going to be.

Let’s talk about automation, it’s a game changer. I can now scrape and pull data efficiently, which is a time-saver and a big deal in my digital marketing career. Understanding data is crucial in this field. And building apps? It takes some sweat, but the payoff is worth it.

I’ve noticed that many app companies out there are missing the mark. Now that I’ve upskilled, I’m confident that I can do better, especially since I know what people actually need.

The course was comprehensive. I learned to automate tasks using Python scripts and manage both physical and virtual IT resources. I even got a handle on using Git and GitHub for version control, super useful for managing projects. But what really stood out was learning how to analyze real IT problems and find effective solutions.

Why does this matter? I’ve spent a lot of time in Malaysia and Singapore, and I love these places. As I get older, I want to give back more. Whether it’s through digital marketing, programming, or even fun stuff like badminton and red wine, sharing knowledge is the goal. Life’s too short to focus on small gains.

To sum it up, this course did more than teach me about IT automation. It gave me new tools to help others and make my own life easier. And that’s a solid win in my book.
