Course Perspective
Just wrapped up the IBM & Darden Digital Strategy course, and it feels like I’ve leveled up in my career. I’ve always had a thing for digital marketing and programming, but this course gave me insights I didn’t know I was missing.
I’m usually a lone wolf, dividing my free time between my laptop, sports, and learning new stuff. My work team is my main social hub, and we love tackling challenges. This course gave me the tools to communicate more effectively, both within my team and to a broader audience.
Having spent years in Malaysia and Singapore, I’ve got a good read on what people really want. It’s not just about making money; it’s about adding value to people’s lives. The course showed me how to see data as more than just numbers—it’s the foundation for making informed decisions.
The course also covered Data Science, AI, Business Strategy, and Cloud Computing. These aren’t just trendy terms; they’re the driving forces in the digital landscape. Now, I feel ready to weave these elements into my digital strategies, making me a more well-rounded marketer and programmer.
As time goes on, I see the importance of giving back. I’ve never been one to keep what I know to myself, whether it’s advice on digital marketing or even hobbies like badminton and wine. The skills I’ve picked up have equipped me to share valuable insights for free. Life’s too short to keep knowledge locked up, right?
