Course Perspective
Just wrapped up the Digital Strategy and Business Opportunity course, and wow, it was an eye-opener. I always dig into the nitty-gritty before I even step foot in a class, but this course offered a fresh perspective that I hadn’t considered before.
The course kicked off by diving into how digital, social, and mobile tech are changing the game. Consumer behavior isn’t what it used to be, and it’s a whole new ball game for businesses. As someone who’s been around the block in digital marketing and programming, this was like adding more arrows to my quiver.
We also explored content marketing in-depth. Now, I’m no stranger to creating content that people love, but the course brought creative strategy into the mix. Finding, reaching, and engaging the audience has never been this structured for me, and it’s something I’m keen to try out.
Digital research and social listening were the other big topics. These tools can give you a window into what your audience and even your competitors are up to. I’ve always believed that knowing your audience is half the battle won, and these tools just make it easier.
Being in Malaysia and Singapore for so long, I’ve always had this urge to give back, especially because I know exactly what people need. I’m not just talking about making a quick buck, but genuinely helping people through my skills in digital marketing, programming, and more.
So, what’s next? Well, I’m looking forward to applying all these learnings in real-world scenarios. I’ve got a growing family and an adorable kid who’s as curious as they come. For me, life’s too short to keep all this good stuff to myself. I’m all in for sharing my knowledge and helping as many people as I can. This course? Just another tool in my kit to make that happen.
